Multimedia information of Strategic Pass and Topography can express geographic information more intuitively and visually. In order to supply information guarantee in the stage of operational plan,establish an effective multimedia information storage and management method. Therefore we make a comparative study on common multimedia information storage and management methods such as file system,multimedia property database and multimedia database,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different methods,which provides a reference for further application in detail.
