The paper proposes that the energy-saving inspection and testing research for hoisting machineries has just been started currently in our country. Some research has been done in foreign countries,but there is lack of systematic and complete study for energy-saving testing method and evaluation system of hoisting machinery. The paper analyzes the cur-rent situation of crane energy-saving study,and discusses critical technologies for its energy-saving evaluation.
