中医五脏系统在临床中出现的复杂证候群，体现出了五脏系病机演变的过程。临床中的“多个脏系同时发病”，是普遍存在的规律；而“五脏系同病”，是病机演变过程中的趋向与终点，映射出的是中医诊疗原型系统及其基本结构，对其内在机制进行深入的研究，将会为中医临床疗效评价体系的建立提供基础和依据。
