The paper describes the development trend of rough terrain wheeled crane,indicates that research of its con-trol system plays great significance,introduces the major system control objects,and puts forward a complete set of the control system for rough terrain wheeled crane,with detailed design of the control system. In view of the problem of low communica-tion speed caused by limited number of the wiring harness in rotating electrical slip ring of information communication and too much data on single bus,an improved CAN bus control system network is put forward,with modular design and double-CAN bus communication. Through site test for this crane,reliability and superiority of the control system are verified.
