高等农业院校是培养高层次应用型、创新型农业生物技术人才的主要阵地。高等农业院校生物技术专业建设要以培养合格的农业生物技术人才为目标,实现学生的全面发展;以生产实践为导向,注重实践能力的培养,实现理论与实践的结合与统一;以培养掌握地域性农业产业技术的人才为特色,与本地区农业发展紧密结合,促进本地区特色农业产业的发展;以优化师资结构为重点,打造高水平的应用型创新人才培养的教学团队;以加强学科建设为支点,学科建设与人才培养相结合,教学与科研相结合。

Higher agricultural university is the field of cultivating high-level applied and innovative tal-ents of agricultural biotechnology.The goal of the biotechnology specialty construction in agricultural uni-versity is cultivating eligible professional agricultural biotechnology talents,realizing the all-round develop-ment of students.The construction of biotechnology specialty is practice-oriented,emphasizing the cultiva-tion of practice ability,realizing combination of theory and practice.The construction of biotechnology ma-j or in agricultural university should cultivate talents for the characteristics regional agricultural industry, combine with the regional agricultural development closely,promote the development of the regional char-acteristic agricultural industry.The biotechnology specialty construction should focuse on the optimization of the structure of teachers,build a high level teaching team for applied innovative talents training.The construction of biotechnology major should also strengthen the discipline construction,combine discipline construction and personnel training,teaching and scientific research.
