消费是拉动经济运行最有保障的动力，消费结构的转变，对生产环节的产业升级有着重要影响。但近年来，消费对经济的贡献率呈下降趋势，而且各地区的消费发展不平衡，特别是，随着中部和东部省份的经济发展差距加大，其消费水平和消费结构差距也逐渐加大。基于扩展性线性支出系统对选取的河南和江苏两省的消费水平和消费结构在2010年的截面数据进行比较分析，在横向和纵向方面分析了河南和江苏消费的差异和变动趋势。

Consumption can motivate the growth of economy and the change of consumption structure, and has an important influence on the production of industrial upgrading. But in recent years, the contribution of consumption to economy is on a decreasing trend, and consumption development is not balanced in different areas. IT is even more so with the gap of economic development between the central and eastern provinces increasing, and the consumption level and the consumption structure disparity also widens. On the extended linear expenditure system, we analyze the cross-sectional data in 2010 about the consumption level and consumption structure of Henan and Jiangsu provinces. And the consumption trends and changes of Henan and Jiangsu in the horizontal and vertical dimensions are analyzed.
