党的十八大报告明确提出大力推进生态文明建设，并首次提出建设美丽中国，实现中华民族永续发展，这是我党长期坚持科学发展观的具体体现。连云港市作为新亚欧大陆桥东方桥头堡、江苏沿海开发的龙头城市，不仅山海相拥、自然生态良好，而且文化积淀深厚、山海文化特色鲜明。在未来连云港市的发展中，坚持科学发展观，加强生态文明建设显得十分必要和紧迫，尤其是要更加有效地强化对于地方山海文化生态的保护、修复、运用、构建。

The report of the18th National Congress of the CPC clearly proposes to promote the construction of ecological civilization and calls for building a beautiful China and realizing sustainable development of the Chinese nation ,w hich is the actual reflection of our party’s long-term adherence to the scientific outlook on development .As the east bridgehead of the new Eurasian Continental Bridge and Jiangsu coastal devel-opment leading city ,Lianyungang boasts of the sea-and-mountain landscapes and an ecological nature and culture .In the future development ,it is necessary to stick to the scientific outlook on development ,en-hance the construction of ecological civilization and reinforce the protection and application of the sea -and mountain cultural ecology .
