This paper has synthesized the domestic and foreign experimental results for Reactor Pres-sure Vessel Steel (RPVS). The paper has also summed up the influence of the irradiation parameters and the metallurgic factors of RPVS on the irradiation effects, and its application. At last the paper has made an induction, analysis and the theoretical explanation for the occurred phenomena and laws. The mechanism of irradiation embrittlement and generally recognized laws are introduced and summarized as well.
