Eucalyptus citriodora oil is rich in citronellol which is a heat-sensitive substance. It is unsta- ble at high temperature, which makes high-pure separation be more digicult. High vacuum secondary rectify technique was carried out, which could produce citronellol with purity more than 95% and yield more than 60%.
