The author made a in-depth analysis on the status of basic computer teaching of non-computer majors in higher vocational college and Computer Rank Examination in Gansu,put forward some effective suggestions on teaching reform in basic computer course of non-computer majors in higher vocational college,and hopes it will contribute to the improvement of teaching quality and passing rate in examinations.
