In order to realize low carbon production and solve the problem of pollution in ceramic industry, this book has provided a systematic introduction to the sources and categories of ceramic wastes and their current utilizations at home and abroad for reducing their harm to the environment and saving resources and energy consumption. Many practical examples have been cited for a detailed description of the technologies for recycling the ceramic wastes including the selection of them as raw material, the theories and processes of utilizing them in the production of new products, the modification of the body recipe with additives, the performance test and characterization of the new products, with the focus on the technical process for making new products from ceramic wastes, the properties and applications of the resultants. The technical specifications for recycling ceramic wastes, the standards for recycled products are also introduced.
