在节能环保的时代主题下，国家出台了对节能汽车和新能源汽车的支持与鼓励政策，因此节能汽车和新能源汽车将获得更大的发展。，首先，通过对国家新能源汽车的政策分析，指出新能源汽车尤其是纯电动车将获得更大的发展空间；其次，通过市场调研、经济性分析及技术分析等，指出节能效果在50％以上、续航里程在80km以内、总价在15万元以下的纯电动汽车，可基本满足消费者的需求，并具有很好的经济和环保效益；最后，针对中国汽车市场的特殊性，对中国车企发展新能源汽车尤其是小型电动汽车提出了建议。

In an age of energy conservation and environment protection, the government has staged out policies to support and encourage energy-saving vehicles and new energy vehicles; therefore great progress would be made in the fields. First, by analyzing the national policy on new energy vehicle, the paper points out that new energy vehicle, in particular the pure electric vehicle, will enjoy a t)roader development. Second, through market researeh, eeonomic analysis and technology analysis, the paper showed that the pure electric vehic.le with a total price of within RMB 150 000 yuan, energy-saving performance more than 50% and driving mileage of 80 km will basically meet consumers" requirements and also boasts good economic and environmental benefits. At last, in regard to the particularity of Chinese auto market, the paper provides suggestions for new energy vehicle OEMs in China, espec, ially for those of small electric vehicles.
