The spectral properties and acoustic properties of ship radiated noise are analyzed.The method of combining line spectrum and continuous spectrum is given.Then the noise simulator is designed in details from three aspects:the working principle of the simulator,the hardware components and software process.The simulator which has the advantages of simple structure and high reliability can realistically simulate the line spectrum and continuous spectrum of ship's radiated noise.It can be used in the development,simulation and testing of underwater acoustic equipment.
