通识选修课作为高等教育课程结构体系中的重要组成部分，在扩展学生知识面、培养业务素质、发展个性和能力等方面起着重要的作用。采用问卷调查、访谈及统计等方法对大理学院医学类通识选修课的开设现状进行调查分析，并根据所得结论提出一些有益的建议。

General education elective curriculum, as an important part of the curriculum structure system of higher education, helps to expand student's range of knowledge, cultivate student's professional quality, develop student's personality and ability as well. Questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics were used to investigate the status quo of medical elective curriculum in Dali University. Some helpful suggestions were proposed accordingly.
