通过研究阿坝州工业化城镇化发展的结构、关系发现，阿坝州的工业化水平落后于城镇化发展水平，城镇化发展水平落后于非农化发展水平，且城镇化落后于非农化的程度总体上呈上升的趋势。推动阿坝州工业化和城镇化协调发展，应做好产业发展规划，按照城乡结合、率先跨越；旅游带动，迅速崛起；牦牛先导。跨越发展；培育产业，奋力追赶的思路，充分利用资源，确定“工业经济区、畜牧经济区、旅游经济区、综合经济区”的区位优势发展战略，进一步促进新型工业化与城镇化的协同发展。

Through a research on the structure and the relations of industrialization and urbanization in Aba, the author finds that in Aba, the industrialization lags behind the urban development. And the htter falls behind the development of non-agrlculture-sector with an ascending trend. In order to advance the coordinated development of industrialization and urbanization, industrial development plan shall be put in place adopting the principles of integrated development of cities and villages, rapid development of the tourism industry, leaping development of Yak-related industry, and fostering pillar industries. Thus by making full use of resources and mapping out strategies of geographical advantage development in terms of Industrial Economic Development Area, Livstock Development Area, Tourism Area and Comprehensive Economic Area, the coordinated development of new type urbanization and industrialization could be further promoted.
