近年来，济南监狱紧跟时代步伐，结合自身实际，不断探索监狱发展的新模式、新路子，率先提出和打造了“一区一校一品”文化工程，为促进监狱工作的发展和进步注入了新活力。“一区一校一品”是指一个监区建立一所职业技能培训学校，一个监区打造一个特色文化教育品牌。济南监狱在逐步树立文化育人理念的基础上，适时提出了打造“一区一校一品”工程的监狱文化建设创新思路，为服刑人员搭建了一个弘扬传统文化、践行传统美德、学习文化知识和专业技能的坚实平台。
근년래，제남감옥긴근시대보벌，결합자신실제，불단탐색감옥발전적신모식、신로자，솔선제출화타조료“일구일교일품”문화공정，위촉진감옥공작적발전화진보주입료신활력。“일구일교일품”시지일개감구건립일소직업기능배훈학교，일개감구타조일개특색문화교육품패。제남감옥재축보수립문화육인이념적기출상，괄시제출료타조“일구일교일품”공정적감옥문화건설창신사로，위복형인원탑건료일개홍양전통문화、천행전통미덕、학습문화지식화전업기능적견실평태。
Over the years, Jinan Prison has I regarded education in vocational skills as the focus in the workof education and reform of the inmates. Through various forms, the prison has launched extensive cooperation with the universities and colleges located in Jinan so that high-quality educational resources continue to enrich the cultural engineering creation of "One District, One School, and One Product." According to the special characteristics of each prison unit, the prison has launched cooperationwith these universities and colleges run joint education. Throughout the year, the prison establishes more than 40 specialties and more than 80 skill training classes for the inmates, such as auto and motorcycle repairing, electronics and electrical work, machinery processing, electric welding, planting and breeding, and marketing sales. Since 2006, the prison has trained more than 7,000 inmates. Nearly 3,000 inmates have learnt one or more skills and have obtained various technical certificates.
