We discuss the existence and uniqueness of non-negative solution of the repairable system which is made up of one work unit and one standby unit in conventional fault conditions with a deteriorating standby unit, and the existence and uniqueness of non-negative time-dependent solution of the system is given by using the theory of operator semi-group.
