通过对云南鹤庆龙珠村传统白绵纸工艺的考察发现，一家一户的手工造纸方式在龙殊村已经完全消失，目前仅有两家具有一定规模的纸厂尚在维持生产．传统白绵纸工艺受到了巨大的冲击，主要表现在浸泡时间缩短、蒸煮程序简化、洗涤次数减少、电动打浆机取代脚碓、聚丙烯酰胺取代杉松树根汁五个方面．工艺虽然发生了明显的变化，但最核心的抄纸工艺依然保持着传统．

According to the study on the traditional craft of Baimian paper in Longzhu Village, Heqing County, Yunnan Province, the handmade paper in single household has completely disappeared. Presently, only two paper factories at a certain scale maintain production and operation. The traditional craft of Baimian paper undergoes a great impact in the following aspects: soak time is shortened; stewing procedures are sim- plified; times of washing are decreased; foot-powered trip hammer is replaced with the power-driven beater and root juice of fir pine trees with polyacrylamide. The technique is tremendously changed, but the most central papermaking technique remains traditional.
