The design procedure and constructional feature of the TD 6000-2 6 MW 10 kV high-speed synchro-nous motor were discussed while the wind path applied in this motor as well as the construction of main parts such as stator, rotor and bearing were introduced. Against the weak point on the rotor, improvement and innovation were done in order to meet with the requirement based upon the opera-tion of high-speed motor, providing new ideas to develop the large-size high-speed synchronous motor.
