新近研究发现催产素在调节能量平衡方面有着重要作用.催产素或催产素受体缺乏的小鼠在正常饮食下会发展为迟发性肥胖,而中枢或外周注射催产素可减轻饮食诱导的肥胖小鼠的体重.催产素的减重作用可能与减少食物摄入、增加能量代谢和脂肪酸β氧化等机制有关.

Recent studies suggested that oxytocin plays an important role in the regulation of energy balance.Oxytocin or its receptor deficient mice developed late-onset obesity despite normal food intake,however,central or peripheral oxytocin infusion induces weight loss in diet-induced obese mice.Its mechanism of anti-obesity effect may be closely related with decreasing food intake,elevating energy metabolism and promoting fatty acid β oxidation,etc.
