The research status of the selections of evaluation indexes for thermal performance of non-uniform thermal environment was presented; the effect of local thermal responses on overall thermal responses was also analyzed, and the predictive models of thermal sensation and comfort of humans in non-uniform and steady/transient thermal environments were summarized in detail. This will be helpful to the optimization of thermal performance of indoor airflow distributions.
