Morpheme word - formation is a new theory of word formation , which offers a chance to find out some effective memorizing strategies of studying English vocabulay. This paper analyzes the teaching mode of college English vocabulary based on morpheme word - formation and both its presentation and advantages , thus making a strong case for the importance of reforming the teaching mode of college English vocabulary and training students' learning strategies.
