This paper offers detailed analysis on key technical issues confronted during initial large-inclined up-dip mining of face E3201 over 1100m in depth in Da Tong (Tian'an) Coal Group Co.,ltd., which include support design, roof management, equipment anti-fall and anti-ship that would influence coal mine production. Specific measures and methods to deal with large-inclined up-dip mining are presented, providing valuable experiences on promoting the technique under more complex conditions.
