桩架是打桩船的主要部件，尺寸非常大，只能在合适的位置整体建造好，再安装到打桩船上，利用码头囤船，在囤船上建造整个桩架，一再下水到指定水域，利用3艘浮吊将桩架整体翻身再吊装合拢，能有效地弥补船厂大型设施上的不足，解决了该船建造的关键技术，既提高了建造质量，也缩短了建造周期。
