Based on comprehensive understanding of Hong'an County and productivity, according to the elassif'ication of soil, the soil soil eharaeteristies, distribution groups which had common ehara~.teristies and production characteristics of" the soil association were divided into various soil zones. According to actual condition of Hong'an County, the improvement direction of different areas and yiehl increasing ways were put forward.lt provided a scientific basis for allocating agricuhure, forestry and animal husbandry industry reasonably, arranging production reasonably, playing the soil production potential and inproving eeonomic efficieney of agrieuhural production.
