The article reviewed the status of halon alternative for fire suppression. The choice criterion of those and the commonly used fire extinguishing agent now is described too. Presented a new clean extinguishing agent-perfluorinated ketone, which has excellent performance: safety, environmental protection and high efficiency. Then demonstrated its application prospects.
