Starting from the characteristics of different types of frozen ground, and combined with the actual case of Ngola Mountains Highway tunnel engineering in State Road 214 Line, the article used the theoretical analysis, numerical computing and other means to analyze the effect of thermal-insulation layer of seasonally frozen ground, permafrost and nonfrozen ground segment in cold-region tunnel.
