为了初步评价臭柏精油的毒性,按照改良寇氏法设计试验,选择昆明种小鼠对臭柏精油进行14 d的急性毒性试验,观察在14 d内动物所产生的毒性反应。试验结束后将小鼠处死解剖,观察心、肝、脾、胃、肾、肺、胸腺等重要器官的病理变化。结果显示,给小鼠灌胃臭柏精油后出现毛发蓬松、运动失调、抽搐、侧卧、呼吸困难、饮水量及采食量减少等症状,小鼠死亡时间集中在12~24 h。臭柏精油对小鼠经口急性毒性的LD50为2570 mg/kg,95%可信限为2763~2391 mg/kg。死亡动物经尸体解剖肉眼观察心、肝、脾、胃、肾、肺、胸腺等重要器官无明显异常。对存活小鼠连续观察14 d,一般情况良好,未出现其他毒性反应或死亡。由此可知臭柏精油属低毒物质,但对臭柏精油进行开发利用时应考虑其安全性评价。

To evaluate the toxicity of essen oil of Sabina vulgaris to mice, the acute toxicity test is carried out by K?rber for 14 days. The mice alive are put to death to observe basic pathologic changes of heart, liver, spleen, stomach, kidney, lung and thymus 14 days later. The mice administrated different dose of essen oil of Sabina vulgaris show shaggy, movement disorder, twitching, lying on one side, hard breath and reducing of water and food intake. The death time of mice is 12~24 h. The half lethal dose (LD50) of essen oil of Sabina vulgaris is 2 570 mg/kg and its 95% confidentlimit is 2 763~2 391 mg/kg. There's no other abnormal toxic reactions in basic pathologic changes. These alive mice are observed continuously for 14 days and the resylts show that there is no other toxic effects and death. The results suggest that acute toxicity test from essen oil of Sabina vulgar is low toxic to food safety. However, the safety evaluation is considered in the development of essen oil of Sabina vulgaris.
