烟台市作为中国首批开放的沿海城市，具有得天独厚的地理环境优势及舒适宜人的自然气候条件，是宜居的生态园林城市。对烟台市市区城市绿化建设中的植物种类及应用现状等方面进行调查研究，旨在发现该市城市绿化中存在的问题，并结合问题提出相应的建议，以期为该市今后更好地开展生态园林城市建设提供参考。

As one of the first batch of open coastal cities in China , Yantai is an ecological garden city , and is famous for her natural climate and geographic conditions , which are comfortable and livable for people .The author investigated the species and ap-plied status of green plants in the urban district of Yantai city , found some existent problems in the afforestation in this city , and put forward the corresponding suggestions based on these problems .
