为了掌握海南大风子种群的变化规律,特别是不同径级的稀疏规律,开展了该种群不同径级生物量与密度的关系研究。研究结果表明:无论热带常绿季雨矮林还是灌木林,不同径级的海南大风子种群在密度随着胸径增大而减小的过程中,都表现出共同的特征,在胸径≤6.0 cm内密度下降迅速,而生物量在此范围内递增较为平缓;当胸径>6.0 cm,不同径级的密度变化趋于平缓,而生物量则急剧上升,此递增趋势在胸径>10.5 cm时趋于平缓。在热带常绿季雨矮林和灌木林两个不同的植物群落中,其种群稀疏规律及作用因子略有区别,热带常绿季雨矮林的稀疏指数为-0.707,灌木林的稀疏指数为-0.378。说明在种群内部稀疏过程中,虽然自疏作用仍然存在,但他疏作用在种群密度调节过程中却起到了主要的作用,在灌木林中,他疏作用更为强烈。

The research was conducted to explore the relation of the biomass and density of diameter classes to know the changing law ofH ydnocarpus hainanensis population and the thinning of different diameters.The thinning of H.hainanensis popula-tion in different diameter classes has common characteristics in tropical evergreen monsoon elfin forest and shrub forest. The density at HDB≤6.0 cm declines fast, but the biomass increases gently in this range.However, the density of differ-ent diameter classes is stable at HDB>6.0 cm, but the biomass increases fast and the increasing trend slowed up at HDB>10.5 cm.There is a small distinction of the population thinning and its effect factors in two different communities of tropi-cal evergreenmonsoon elfin forest or shrub forest.It is-0.707 of thinning index in tropical evergreen monsoon elfin forest, and-0 .378 in shrub forest.Therefore, the alien-thinning plays an important role in the population density regulation and is stronger in shrub forest than that in tropical evergreen monsoon elfin forest.
