全语言教学的教育观有其厚实的理论基础，并与当前学校教育改革的诸多见解契合，全语言教学理念所付诸实践的具体做法乃是验证全语言教学的重要指标，使其成为教育革新过程中，不可忽视的重要思潮。全语言教学对英文阅读的启示异于传统的英语教学方式，全语言主张学习是语言整体的学习而不是分割，且要尊重学习者的整体表现。文章主要探讨全语言教学在英文阅读方面的学习，希望进一步了解全语言教学所面临的问题，谋求解决之道。

The whole language teaching in English reading revela-tion is different from the traditional English teaching mode, because the whole language advocates learning is-the whole language learning rather than segmentation, and to the overall performance of the adult learn-ing.
