In the post-era of college English educational reform, our teaching should focus on how to cultivate students' autonomous-learning abilities and achieve effective learning. This paper analyzes the college English autonomous-learning model in the online environment, with elements of students' role, learning resources, teachers' roles, teaching methods and final evaluation system. And it also discusses how to cultivate students' English autonomous-learning abilities in this new environment in order to intensify the reform of college English education and create an effective learning environment.
