The performance of adhesive layer is the key factor which influences the effectivity of the external bonding of FRP. This paper introduces the theory and results of the study about interfacial stresses of structure with a surface-bonded FRP. Focusing on reviewing the development status of the research about the interfacial stresses, and proposed research prospects.
