构建社会主义和谐社会面临许多问题与困难，解决好这些问题、处理好各方面矛盾的根本途径是继续深化各项改革，完善各项制度。首先要深化经济体制改革，理顺各种经济关系和处理好各种利益矛盾；其次要深化政治体制改革，为和谐社会建设提供政治制度保障；再次要深化社会体制改革，建立和完善各种社会结构和机制，保证社会的良性运转；最后要深化文化体制改革，推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣，为社会主义和谐社会提供的人文精神导向。

The construction of a harmonious socialist society is faced with many problems and difficulties. The fundamental ways to solve these problems and handle kinds of contradictions lie in deepening various reforms and completing different systems. First of all, the reform of economic system must be deepened to straighten out different kinds of economic relations and deal with conflicts of interests. Secondly, the reform of political system is ought to be promoted to provide political guarantee for the construction of a harmonious society. Thirdly, it is necessary to continue the reform of social system and establish various social structures and mechanisms in order to lead the society into a sound cycle of development. Last but not least, the reform of cultural system should also be deepened so as to achieve vigorous development and prosperity of socialist culture, which can provide humanistic spirit guide for a harmonious socialist society.
