It is difficult to extract precious metals from low grade materials, and mainly reflect in two aspects:concentration and separation. The paper reports a soda roasting-solvent extraction process for the recovery of platinum group metals from waste materials, which containing trace amounts of Pt, Pd and Rh, Platinum group metals were concentrated effectively by soda roasting procedure, then dissolved into solution and separated selectively by solvent extraction.
