从粘结剂的选取出发,对硅粉、石油焦粉和煤粉的混合料进行了冷压造块的试验研究。研究结果表明:单一粘结剂的造块效果差,SDB和水玻璃的复合粘结剂造块效果好。当造块压力不低于35 MPa,造块水分为6%~7%,添加1%的SDB和3.5%的水玻璃,得到的团块强度好。其湿块3 m落下强度大于1次,干块3 m落下强度大于10次,干块抗压强度大于700 N/cm2。干块在1300℃高温下焙烧仍保持成块,耐高温性好,满足硅冶炼的要求。

Experiment on cold briquetting with the mixture of silica powder, petroleum coke and coal powder was conducted starting from selection of binder. It is found from experiment that single binder results in the briquette of poor quality, whereas the composite binder of SDB and water glass can significantly improve the quality of briquette. With the pressure not less than 35 MPa, moisture around 6%~7%, and the proportion of SDB and water glass being 1% and 3?5%, respectively, the drop strength value of the prepared wet briquette from a height of 3m is more than 1 drop, while the dried briquette has a drop strength value of more than 10 drops from the height of 3 m, with the compressive resistance greater than 700 N/cm2 . The dried briquette can be sustained without breaking at a high temperature of 1 300℃, showing a good resistance to high temperature, which completely meets the requirement for silicon smelting.
