为了在三维场景中快速生成大规模地形地貌,必须解决复杂地形海量数据和计算机硬件绘制能力有限的问题。首先对现有地形生成技术进行探讨,提出Oracle数据库动态存储分块数据和用实际高程代替插值高程消除裂缝的方法。其次在动态LOD生成地形后,对系统进行优化,并通过对比数据选择合适的分块大小。最后通过搭建实验环境仿真,验证方案的有效性。该方法保证了场景的视觉效果,加快了大规模地形地貌的生成速度。

To generate the large-scale terrain and topography rapidly in 3D scene, the problems that the massive data of complex terrain and the limited rendering capability of computer hardware must be solved .Firstly, current techniques for terrain generation are discussed , and the approaches are proposed that to use Oracle database to store the block data dynamically and to replace the interpolated elevation with actual elevation for eliminating the cracks .Secondly, after the LOD algorithm is used to generate terrain dynamically , the system is optimised, and the proper sizes of blocks are selected by data comparison .Finally, by constructing experimental environment simulation , the effectiveness of the presented solution is verified .This method ensures the visual effect in the scene and accelerates the generation speed of large-scale terrain and topography .
