The problem of deep rock burst at Xingcun Coal Mine is prominent. The strata behaviors during roadway tunneling process are obvious and even inlfuence its safe use during mining process. Through the analyses of strata behaviors during tunneling process and the prominent factors inlfuencing strata behaviors, management advices on preventing rock burst are given. To fully release the elastic energy of surrounding rock, so that stable support system is formed and oversize harmful deformation can be prevented. Engineering practice shows that this technology is successfully applied, and the stability of roadway is ensured.
