目前，百色市的乡村旅游在发展过程中面临一系列的竞争和挑战主要是：乡村旅游点的经营环境有待改善；人才紧缺，从业人员素质有待提高；乡村旅游业发展壮大所需资金短缺，类型单一，创新性不足；营销宣传投入不足等。百色市政府应从乡村旅游转型升级入手，加大资金投入，完善基础设施；加强相关人员培训，提升人员待遇；以开展清洁乡村为契机，整治环境；加大乡村旅游整合竞合力度；加强营销，扩大宣传；从而提升当地乡村旅游产业竞争力，促进经济发展。

The local government shall change the growth pattern of the tourism industry to increase investment in facilities, intensify the efforts in training personnel and raise their welfares, improve the vil-lage environment, incorporate stakeholders, and strengthen product marketing. As a result, the competitiveness of the industry can be lifted that help promote the local economy.
