作为红色经典的代表作品，长篇小说《红旗谱》之所以影响至今，其原因有三：从酝酿到诞生长达23年之久，显示了作家准备之充分，经验积累之丰厚，体现了小说创作的特殊性；作家对五四文学和外国文学特别是苏联革命文学有过丰富阅读积累，创作出长篇小说《红旗谱》，有着深厚的文学背景支撑；创作的特殊性和文化背景支撑，使《红旗谱》在革命历史建构和审美建构过程中保持了平衡和张力，小说的魅力依然未减。

As a representative of classic revolutionary works, the novel The Red Flag has a great influence even to the modern soci-ety. The thesis propose the following three reasons: firstly, it takes 23 years from preparation to generation. The writer shows his huge ac-cumulation of experience so that his work could approve the far-reaching influence. The long-time novel creation differs his work from other works. Secondly, The writer studies a vast expense of the“4th May Youth Revolution” literature and foreign literature especially Soviet revolutionary literature. In another word, the novel The Red Flag has a profound literary background support. Thirdly, the novel The Red Flag maintains a balance between construction of revolutionary history and aesthetic construction due to the particularity of creation and the support of cultural background. The novel still remains a great charm to all the audience.
