Xu Dishan collected a huge amount of Chinese books during his life time, and many of them have been purchased by the library of Australian National University and are kept there ever since. These books are significant in studying Xu dishan's life and his creative writing, and have very high collection value. The author of this article made a on-the-spot investigation on these books and studied their editions, versions, publishing years, sources of purchases, collections and management and the related topics, and discovered some misunderstandings and defects while studying these books.
