近十年来欧洲博士生数和博士学位授予数急剧增长，因此有很大一部分博士生必须到非学术单位求职。但是，由于缺乏工程背景，欧洲的博士毕业生的工作表现不够理想。因此，欧洲各国政府、大学、企业在联合推进校企合作博士生培养模式，旨在提升学术型博士生的工程背景。本文分析了该培养模式是如何实施的，其成绩、困难以及挑战。本文并根据我国情况给出了如何借鉴欧洲经验的政策建议。

The last decade has witnessed a dramatic increase in the number of doctoral students and doctorate holders in Europe. As a result, a large proportion of Ph.D graduates have to seek employment from non-academic employers. However, the aca-demic Ph.D graduates often perform lower than expected due to their lack of engineering background. Collaborative Doctoral Ed-ucation is a scheme that European governments, universities, and enterprises jointly take to enhance the engineering background of Ph.D graduates. In this paper we analyze how the scheme is im-plemented, give comments on its achievements, difficulties, and challenges. Finally, we give suggestions on how we can borrow European experience based on China's special circumstances.
