基质金属蛋白酶3(matrix metalloproteinase3, MMP3)是MMPs家族的主要成员之一,其前肽区(propeptide, Pro)和铰链(hinge, H)之间的具有Zn2+活性位点的接触反应性核团(catalytic domain)是其核心反应部位。MMP3在机体内表达的变化和活性的异常参与了多种疾病的病理过程,特别是肿瘤的发生与发展过程。本文将从MMP3的结构、功能、生物化学特性及其在肿瘤发生发展中的作用等方面综述其最新研究进展。
基質金屬蛋白酶3(matrix metalloproteinase3, MMP3)是MMPs傢族的主要成員之一,其前肽區(propeptide, Pro)和鉸鏈(hinge, H)之間的具有Zn2+活性位點的接觸反應性覈糰(catalytic domain)是其覈心反應部位。MMP3在機體內錶達的變化和活性的異常參與瞭多種疾病的病理過程,特彆是腫瘤的髮生與髮展過程。本文將從MMP3的結構、功能、生物化學特性及其在腫瘤髮生髮展中的作用等方麵綜述其最新研究進展。

Matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP3) is attached to the family of Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). And the cata-lytic domain, which is located between the propeptide (Pro) and the hinge and has an active site with Zn2+, is the cardinal active site of MMP3. Its change in gene expression and its abnormal activity contribute to the pathologic processing of many diseases, especially to the development of tumor. This review is aimed at introducing and elaborating MMP3 through its structure, func-tion, biochemistry and its contribution in tumor progression.
