随着自然环境恶化的问题越来越严重，生态批评理论应运而生，主张把生态问题和文学联系起来。细读诗歌《塞尔书》将会有助于理解英国浪漫主义诗人威廉·布莱克的生态观——肯定自然的价值，反对人类中心主义，拯救人类精神生态。虽然有一定的局限性，但是这种生态观的前瞻性和警示性值得敬仰。

As environmental problems get more and more serious, Ecocriticism comes into being, which puts emphasis on the rela?tionship between ecology and literature. William Blake, an English Romantic poet, expressed his view on ecology in The Book of Thel. He was for the value of nature, while against Anthropocentrism. In spite of some limitations, his attitude towards nature is still worth admiring.
