    Cyclamen is an important flower during Lunar New Year with high ornamental value ,and the breed-ing of new varieties had important significance .The current situation of Cyclamen breeding ,breeding objectives and main breeding methods such as cross breeding ,radiation breeding ,haploid breeding and molecular breeding in China were introduced .
