In order to improve the efficient of medical service, the health smart card was applied in Shenzhen government hospital, which had self-issuing card, self-register, self-payment, health recorder authorized and test result self-printing function. This card could help the clinical data sharing and cooperation among hospitals. This article introduces the function and technical architecture of health smart card, underlines the key work points in the whole implementing process, and explores the experience of implementing and problems which should be addressed.
