与传统的话题口语测试相比，机考故事复述口语测试任务具有可操作性强，给口语教学带来积极的反拨作用等诸多优点。由于它能够给考生提供口语表达所需的背景知识，相应的词汇及语法结构，调查问卷证明考生在完成该任务时焦虑度显著较低，更能接受该任务，也认为该任务难度较低。
與傳統的話題口語測試相比，機攷故事複述口語測試任務具有可操作性彊，給口語教學帶來積極的反撥作用等諸多優點。由于它能夠給攷生提供口語錶達所需的揹景知識，相應的詞彙及語法結構，調查問捲證明攷生在完成該任務時焦慮度顯著較低，更能接受該任務，也認為該任務難度較低。

Compared with traditional topic - based speaking test ,computer - based story - retelling speaking test has many advantages , such as high practicality and bringing positive washback for teaching and learning of speaking English . Since it can provide the background knowledge ,vocabulary and grammar structure ,the results of the questionnaire showed that it could reduce the anxiety of the test - takers . They thought it was better and easier than the topic - based speaking test .
