为适应社会发展对应用性、技能型人才的需求，建筑材料课程教学改革势在必行。笔者根据自己教学实践，分析了信息时代下高校建筑材料课程教学中存在的问题和不足，为提高学生的工程实践能力，在教学内容、教学方法与手段等方面进行了实践与探索，提出了具体的解决方法和建议。
