This article aims to explore the approach toward construction a system for cultivating undergraduate innovative ability in the case of the school of Marine Sciences of Ningbo University. It suggests that classroom instruction and extracurricula internship, fundamental theories, major learning system and research training, atmosphere and platforms be integrated into the system to cultivate students’ innovative awareness, enthusiasm, ideas and capabilities.
