Substation is a requisite power system for collecting and delivering electricity in wind farm. Its main function is to gather electricity generated by wind turbines and delivery the electricity to grid through the high voltage cable. The substation is a hub that connects wind farm and grid,which plays a crucial role in delivering and saleing the electricity in wind farm. e paper analyzed the engineering design, construction, commissioning and acceptance of the 110KV substation of Helan Mountain Wind Farm in Azuoqi, Inner Mongolia, explored the scienti c and rational construction techniques and modes in the process of wind farm substation engineering and provided reference for the substation construction and management of wind farm in the future.
